The female pelvic floor is complex, but the process of finding the right size Uresta is simple. Start with the middle size 4 included in the Uresta Starter Kit and follow the steps below:
You have found your perfect size if:
- Your bladder leakage has stopped
- You are able to empty your bladder without difficulty
- Uresta fits comfortably and is barely noticeable
Try a smaller size if:
- You are unable to empty your bladder
- It is uncomfortable
Try a larger size if:
- Your bladder leaking has not stopped.
- Uresta falls down to the opening of your vagina or falls out altogether.
If the sizes in the Starter Kit do not work for you and you find that you need either a size 2 or a size 6, please let us know within 30 days and we’ll send it free of charge.

Uresta 2.0 has the leak-stopping support thousands of women know and love, now with a new finger hole handle and optional Removal String, designed to make you feel more confident when it’s time to remove.
Uresta 2.0 is the exact same when it comes to sizing and level of leak-proof protection. It will feel the same and be just as comfortable as the original Uresta.The only changes are adding a robust finger hole in the handle and the introduction of the optional Removal String.
The new finger hole handle allows you to get a more secure grip when removing your Uresta and the ability to pull it out of your vagina with one finger. Simply locate the handle, insert your finger through the finger hole before pulling Uresta out of the vagina. Pro tip: Twisting or tipping Uresta side to side before pulling out of the vagina will help break the seal.
Should you choose to use one of our optional Removal Strings, loop the string through the finger hole before inserting Uresta. When it comes time to remove Uresta, grab the Removal String and follow the string to locate the Uresta handle. Once you’ve located the handle, insert your finger through the finger hole as described above.
Yes, they are very easy to attach - they are pre-looped so no special knot tying skills are required! Simply 1) loop the string through the finger hole, 2) then loop it through the other end of the Removal String and 3) pull it down, so that the loop tightens around the bottom of the handle.
Tip: Try and have the Removal String on either side of the middle divider ridge to give you better control.
